Large restaurant , steady usage, 155 degree output. This customer has a commercial restaurant and bar with the associated needs for hot water; 600 gallons of hot water per hour at 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
This specific application provides water at the required 145 degrees to ten sinks , to a commercial dishwasher that has its own heater and also for the normal uses of washing hands by customers and other applications in the facility at 125 degrees.
The two units are in parallel to balance the load between the two units and not restrict the flow of water thru the system. The ¾ pipe we use in each heater has a maximum flow thru of 22 gallon per minute so if the customer were to use the units in series the maximum flow thru their system would be 22 GPM. This way they can use up to 44 GPM.
This heating system provides the customer 370,000 BTUs of heating capacity per hour for less than $6,000 which is a great value.
