NEMA 4 Enclosures. Our standard box is NEMA 3 which make usable in outdoor and indoor applications but it is not air tight.
NEMA 4 enclosures are available for our larger heaters in both the CE series and the C series.
The enclosure is made of steel and coated in a white satin enamel paint that matches the color of our standard units.
All enclosures include a hinged door and air tight connectors to allow main power and water line entry.
They are all large enough to allow entry to the top of the heater structure to be able to repair any part of the heater. For that reason they are normally twice the size of our normal NEMA 3 box.
Please use the chart below to see the sizes of NEMA 4 enclosures that correspond to our heaters.

The boxes on this chart mount to a wall but can be purchased as a stand up enclosure for an added $500. Contact our sales office for this option.
Eye Wash Station Packages. An eyewash station heater that you purchase must heat water at 20 GPM of Tepid water( 60-100 F) for a minimum of 15 minutes.
The schedule below shows the KW capacity needed to meet and exceed this requirement.
Our definition of exceeding the requirement is to be able to reach the middle of the range or 80 degrees Fahrenheit. We would recommend you size your heater purchase to allow you to heat at least 20 GPM to 80 degrees.
For example, if the coldest your water gets is 50 degrees our C 90 KW unit will exceed the requirements
and provide a continuous stream of 80 degree water.
If your inbound water temperature could be as low as 40 degrees our 108 KW unit will heat the water
to 77 degrees and meet the requirements. If you want to go to the upper end of the tepid water range
it will take a two heater combination as our largest heater is 108 KW.

Options we recommend for eye wash station heaters. |
| |
| NEMA 4 Box |
| |
| A 1” in and out pipe that allows 30 gallon per minute to flow thru the heater at normal street water pressure of 55 P.S.I. |
| |
| A mixing valve that allows for latent heat dispersal on the CE series and to reduce the output temperature to the required
temperature on the C series. |
| |
| Freeze protection. The unit turns on for 5 seconds if the temperature drops below 40 degrees F on the inbound pipe. The unit will never freeze inside or overheat. |
