All our heaters are backed by an excellent warranty at 2 years for all electrical parts and 5 years for the heat exchangers. All units also include individually fused elements for protection from electrical failures.

COMMERCIAL WITH OPTIONAL FLOW SWITCH-CF

We introduced this line in 2014 as an upgrade to our C series mechanical models.  They are mechanically controlled heating units with fixed output temperatures so there is some temperature oscillation.  Each element is individually fused and there is one contactor that engages only when there is water pressure and stays on till water pressure drops below 3 PSI.  There is a flow switch option available that requires flow before the heater turns on. The elements are individually controlled by thermostats that break the circuit when their set temperature is reached which results in minimal chance of overheating.

ELECTRONIC- THE CE LINE OF HEATERS

We introduced the electronic line in 2010 which was another milestone in our company.      Now, we address more sophisticated needs for heating water or other liquids.  The CE units heat fluid to an output temperature of 60 to 185 F and are adjustable in one degree increments.

For example, if you want to heat water from 50 degrees to 81 degrees we can do that without the use of a mixing valve.     If you want to change your mind and adjust the output temperature by five degrees you just click on the exterior rocker switch five times and you are now at 86 F.     If you want to monitor what is happening at the output we can equip your unit with RS 232 interface.

In 2014 we added individual fusing to the units and an improved pressure switch.

  • Like all other electronic heaters it is not as easy to repair in the field as the more
       mechanical models.

  • Our Mechanical “CF Series and C series” heaters are the most reliable and repairable
       heaters on the market. This unit is similar except for the computer board.

  • The electronic model costs 5+% more than the mechanical models.



    ELECTRONIC- THE CES LINE OF HEATERS

    We introduced the electronic line in 2010 and the CES line in 2012.
    The CES units have three standard over temperature protections with
    an optional fourth available in the latent heat disposal system. Temperature outputs are limited to a range of 60 to 90 F. Freeze protection is standard in all CES units.

    If you want to monitor what is happening at the output we can equip your unit with RS 232 interface. If you want to heat water for safety showers at 23 GPM and 85 F we can do that reliably with three standard over temperature protections with a fourth optional called the latent heat disposal system.

    The larger units will flow 55+ gallons per minute and have the lowest pressure drop in the industry.

    CFLWD and CELWD SERIES INDUSTRIAL WATER HEATERS

    This series of units is great for applications where you use the unit for an extended period of time each day. The low watt density elements are extremely difficult to destroy. They last up to 17 minutes when just heating air versus 1-2 minutes for the high watt density products. Because the elements have more volume to displace the heat to the water they also run cooler which reduces the incidence of hot spot creation on the elements. Hot spot creation is one of the main “long term” reasons for element failure as ultimately the element cannot cool itself because of material buildup. The sheathing burns thru the hot spot, the element shorts, and either burns the internal fuse in the system or a breaker.
    These units cost 20%+ more than the standard units because they are physically larger…twice as wide as the older units.
    They are probably the best buy in the industry.

    DEIONIZED WATER AND OTHER APPLICATIONS- THE CERO SERIES (commercial electronic reverse osmosis) line of heaters

    This heater line is exactly the same in terms of operation as the electronic (CE) line except it uses titanium sheathed elements and stainless steel screw plugs. This makes the line more resistant to various solutions.

    The product recently incorporated low watt density elements with Titanium sheathing which further increases the unit longevity.

    The titanium sheathing is resistant to salt water and is almost impossible to physically destroy in a destructive test. The unit fails to work before it splits open whereas the incoloy sheath will split when you force a failure. This is important in situations where you do not want the fluid contaminated thus the recommended use in deionized water applications.




    Advantages:

    It will heat many types of fluids and is extremely resistant to corrosive materials. The stainless exchanger and titanium sheath elements are suitable for food application operations, deionized water, and heating salt water.

    Use 316 SS heat exchangers and for all plumbing parts that touch water. We use a 316 SS one way valve to seal the pressure relief valve and air separator that are made of no lead brass from the rest of the product.

    Things to Consider:
    • They cost about 40% more than the standard units and 20% more than the low watt density units.
