ELECTROMECHANICAL (C Series) - ELECTRONIC (CE Series) - ELECTRONIC REVERSE OSMOSIS (CERO Series). Which technology is better for your company?
We make three distinct types of commercial on demand heaters and there are things you need to consider before making a selection. All our heaters do what we say they do and are backed by the best warranty in the market at 2 years for all electrical parts and 10 years for the heat exchangers.
ELECTROMECHANICAL- The C line of commercial heaters - We make this unit for the industrial marketplace and it has been continually improved in the 15 years since it was introduced. This unit is why we are the leader in the industrial marketplace. It is reliable, easily field repairable, and reasonably priced. CLICK HERE TO SEE ALL MODELS IN THIS LINE.
Advantages of the Electromechanical Line - Our C line of commercial heaters:
- It is easier to field repair than our electronic model, which , like all the other electronic products, requires a different experience level to repair.
- You can obtain a small amount of hot water when you want it as it does not use flow meters. With the electronic model you must request over ¼ gallon per minute before it turns on.
- It uses the best heat exchange system in the market, has the best warranty, and is extremely safe.
- It costs about 5% less than the electronic model and in the smaller models it is as much as 30% less.
Things to Consider: This system does not react to changes in water volume as quickly as the newer computerized model so you will have some temperature oscillation. +/- 3 degrees from the fixed output setting. A mixing valve, which reduces this oscillation to +/- 1 degree can be added and also allows you to adjust the temperature.
With the mixing valve, this unit has the same nominal temperature variance as our electronic heater. The C series is an excellent choice for most industrial applications.
ELECTRONIC - the CE (commercial electronic) line of heaters. We recently introduced the electronic line which is another milestone in our company. The line is already very successful in the residential marketplace. Now, we can address more sophisticated needs for heating water or other liquids to a wider range of temperatures. For example, if you want to heat water from 50 degrees to 81 degrees we can do that without the use of a mixing valve.
Advantages of the Electronic Line - Our CE line of commercial heaters:
- Temperature output is adjustable in one degree increments and allows more customer control.
- It meets tepid water requirements for ANSI Z 358.1 for eye wash stations without the use of a mixing valve.
- There is no standby heat loss.
- Dynamic load balancing insures even wear on the elements.
- It makes no noise when turning on and off.
- It uses the best heat exchange system on the market, has the best warranty, and is extremely safe.
- It does not need a mixing valve to allow temperature adjustability.
- Competitively priced.
Things to Consider: Like all other electronic heaters it is not as easy to repair in the field as the electromechanical model. Our electromechanical “C Series” heater is the most reliable and repairable heater on the market. This unit is its twin except for the computer board. The electronic model costs 5+% more than the electromechanical model.
REVERSE OSMOSIS AND STAINLESS STEEL- the CERO (commercial electronic reverse osmosis) line of heaters. This heater line is exactly the same in terms of operation as the electronic (CE) line except it uses stainless steel fittings and passivated 304 stainless for the exchanger and incaloy elements with nickel plated screw plugs. This makes the line more resistant to various corrosive materials. CLICK HERE TO SEE ALL MODELS IN THIS LINE.
Advantages: Our CERO line of commercial heaters:
- It will heat many types of fluids and is extremely resistant to corrosive materials.
- The stainless exchanger and incaloy sheath elements are suitable for food application operations , de ionized water , and heating salt water.
Things to Consider: They cost 20-30% more than the standard units.
