COMPLETE RE-CIRCULATING SYSTEMS - Re-circulating systems serve a number of purposes; minimize the size heater you need to do a specific job, reduce the time it takes to get hot water to the point of use and allow for very accurate monitoring of the systems temperature.

These circulating systems all include a tank, a pump, and a timer.  Tankless has three complete circulating system options that each fit neatly underneath the tankless heater and include a timer that allows populating the tank with heated water when YOU need it. When you do not need it, the circulating system is off and you do not incur the cost of stand by heat loss that comes with any tank system. This system is especially popular in restaurants that have sporadic needs for hot water at more than one temperature level.  It replaces restaurant booster heaters you see sold individually for $1,100 to $2,500.

We offer three different tanks in this system and all are the same width and depth as our tankless heater.
Therefore, the circulating system or booster heater system requires little or no added space. You can use water directly from the heater as well as the tank and with the use of mixing valves off the heater you can obtain numerous temperature levels with the same system. Also, you can purchase our circulating option and our tankless heater for less than you can buy any of the booster heaters and have a solution for all your hot water needs.

Model CO-4 - This product is called the circulating option (CO-4 -4 gallon capacity of the tank) and includes a 4 gallon tank, pump, timer, and related plumbing parts.  You can buy an electronic temperature control to add adjustability to the temperature.   It is easily operated via a switch or a timer. 

Once switched on the pump starts the flow of water which activates the tankless heater and the tank fills with hot water which circulates till it reaches the temperature set on the electronic temperature control.   Once the cycle is complete the dishwasher or other application can draw hot water from the tank.   It allows the use of a much smaller tankless heater as the main heater in the restaurant or other sporadic large flow applications.  For example, many commercial dishwashers fill in 15 seconds. 

To heat this volume of water in 15 seconds to 180 degrees would take a heater that would be much larger than really necessary for your other applications.  A dishwasher that used 2 gallons of 180 degree in 15 seconds would require a heater that would do 6 gallons of 180 degree water per minute or 480,000 BTUs per hour.  A 250 seat restaurant would normally require a capacity of around 160-240K BTU per hour for all applications; exclusive of the dishwasher.  With the use of this option you can size your main water heater to match your other applications.   You will also minimize the standby heat loss associated with a tank by using the timer and shutting off the flow to the tank when it is not needed.
