And if the water is not used then money is wasted in keeping the water hot that is never used.

Tankless water heaters offer the perfect solution to this problem. They are basically on-demand water heaters. They do not heat the water until you actually require it and are therefore highly energy efficient and economical of all the water heaters.

A tankless water heater comprises of heat exchanger unit, water level sensor, burner, and water filled copper tubing shaped like fins. When the taps are turned on, the water flows in to the heat exchanger unit. When the water reaches certain level, the burner is ignited automatically which quickly heats the water present in the heat exchanger unit.

The copper tubings allow for the maximum heat transfer. Once the water is heated, it comes out via hot water taps. When you turn off the taps, the heater also shuts off. Thus, tankless hot water heaters offer instantaneous supply of hot water as and when required.
